A Happy New Year

I wish all Rotarians in District 1120 a very Happy New Year.

Like all of you my  run-up to Christmas Day was very busy.
More sleigh journeys, mentoring  for  University interviews and Rotary Christmas dinners.... A highlight was collecting for the Maypole Project  with the Bromley Rock Choir. Really jolly!!(Maypole a  charity which supports young people with life threatening conditions)

SAFEGUARDING

Thank you to Terry Kinsman for   meeting with me and for keeping a watchful eye on  Safeguarding  requirements for our District.
Please contact him if you have any questions  kinsman@macrolevel.co.uk

NEW YEAR RESOLUTIONS

In Rotary we can do better than this.

  • Attract more members
  • Add our Christmas projects to Rotary  Central 2
  • Start thinking about our plans for 2017-18  Really look at our communities and ensure we know about real needs and ENGAGE  with other organisations to  develop projects which will make the greatest impact!

Help our District to be more effective! We need  Rotarians from all areas within the SE and Gibraltar.

Can you consider taking on one of the following responsibilities  in District for 2018-19?
  • Lead  and team members for Community  Projects
  • Team members for Membership  Development Support
  • Health and Safety
  • Assistant Treasurer
  • Be part of our Environmental team
PRESIDENTS ELECT
If you have not done so please sign up  on Eventbrite for the PETS meeting on March 3rd.

I am now preparing for going to San Diego for my DG training. Lots to read before I go! I'll write again at the end of January with news from RI and other areas of the world.
