THE MAGIC OF DISNEY AND THE MAGIC OF ROTARY

CHILDREN'S HOSPICE HOLIDAYS   Jim and I were treated to a most moving and wonderfully sociable event   organised by Medway  RC  last  Tuesday after returning from Gibraltar. It was buzzing, with I guess  60/70 diners including visiting rotarians and guests, some of whom had taken part in the Children's Hospice Holidays programme.  Ellenor  Hospice staff  also joined  us. IT WAS A CELEBRATION PARTY!!There were several presentations. The joy in the children's faces and the  comments from their parents   on the video clips brought everyone  in the room close to tears.  Without ROTARY these memorable  family experiences would never have taken place. We have lost a daughter to Cancer so know first hand how memories  are what we hold on to.  Medway Sunlight Rotary and Sidcup Rotary are partners in this project .  Thank you.  WELL DONE ROTARY A MAGIFICENT ACHIEVEMENT  YOU COULD JOIN THEM  . CONTACT DAVE HATCHER if you would like to here
